COVID-19:  New dates
The priority of organizers is to hold the event in-person. The current situation in the Czech Republic seems promising for the planned dates September 20 - October 1 2021. The organizers are preparing a hybrid workshop offering both on-site and on-line participation.

Dear participants,

We encourage you to book an accommodation individually. We strongly recommend not to postpone the booking of the accommodation till the last moment. Prague is a very touristic city and free rooms are occupied quickly despite the pandemic threat.

We would like to provide our list of recommendations for your comfortable stay in Prague during the workshop period:

  1. https://umedvidku.cz/cs/
We recommend the hotel in the city center “U Medvídků”. This is the closest hotel to the venue (just 200 meters). This historic hotel features one of Prague`s oldest restaurants since 1466 and a famous micro-brewery with a pub serving typical Czech cuisine and Budvar beer. Breakfasts are included in the price of the stay.

  2. Hotely | StudentHostel.cz
For economy accommodation we recommend hotels provided by the Czech Technical University. You can find detailed information in the link above or more directly in the links below.

    • Hotel | Congress center, hotel, hostel, restaurant - Masaryk Dormitory (masarykovakolej.cz)
The Masarykova Dormitory is located in Dejvice not far from the International Vaclav Havel Airport and the CTU and the Institute of Chemical Technology campuses. The dormitory is in the lower price-range and offers both single and double bed rooms. The dormitory is located around 20 minutes by metro (Green line) or tram (number 18) from the venue. As far as the Masarykova Dormitory is a partially student dormitory widely used for conferences, the complications connected with the tourist period do not apply for it, and you can always find a place to stay there.

    • Reservation | Novoměstský hotel*** (novomestskyhotel.cz)
The Novoměstský hotel is located in the city centre with a good transportation system nearby and all historical sights of Prague. Metro and trams are accessible by foot in several minutes. Also it’s just 13 minutes by walk from the venue. The prices are higher than at the Masarykova Dormitory, but with better conditions and also with breakfasts.

  3. https://www.usemika.cz/en
Hotel u Semika is a family-like hotel in the city centre of Prague, located within the unique historic complex of Vysehrad. This hotel is in the medium price-range and offers single bed rooms. The hotel is located around 15 minutes by tram (number 18) from the venue.

  4. https://www.rezidencedlouha17.cz/
Rezidence Dlouhá 17 is an accommodation facility belonging to the Centre for International Cooperation in Education. The hotel is located in the very heart of Prague’s historical centre, in the Old Town pedestrian zone just two minutes’ walk from the Old Town Square. This hotel is in the higher price-range and offers single bed rooms. The hotel is located around 15 minutes walking from the venue.
