COVID-19: New dates |
Target
The workshop is targeted not only to experts but also (even primarily) to PhD. students. The scientific topics might be of interest to experts from related fields and to Master students as well.
Size
Estimated number of participants is 40 (in-person).
The actual size of the Workshop is subject of the restrictions formulated by Czech government in response to the Covid-19 pandemic situation. Therefore, the option to stream the formal part of the programme is planned and there is no limit to number of on-line participants.
Duration
The Workshop will span over two weeks, September 20 - October 1 2021. Participants can register to the first week or to the second week or to both weeks and speakers can come for a shorter period at their convenience.
- 1st week - Basics of CNB, Theory of non-relativistic Majorana fermions, Elmag properties of neutrinos,
- 2nd week - Neutrinos in celestial dynamics, Neutrinos in cosmic rays, Condensation of CNB
The format of a day is planned to be 2-3 talks/lectures in the morning and in the afternoon there will be a discussion block and a lot of time for social and collaboration exchange.
Fees
The Workshop is to a large extent supported by the local organizer, the Institute of Experimental and Applied Physics. The institute covers the expenses for the invited speakers, for the venue and for the support of students.
The value of the participation fee is derived to cover the other organizational expenses, lunches and coffee-breaks.

The Institute of Experimental and Applied Physics provides limited resources for support of gifted students on request based on a recommendation. The support consists in providing a 50 % discount to the workshop fee.
Payment
The payment for the in-person participation will be accepted only on site during the workshop.
The payment for the on-line participation will be accepted by bank transfer during the period from September 1, 2021 till September 17, 2021 (from the positive decision about the dates of the workshop till the beginning of the workshop). The on-line credentials will be sent to the participant upon the received payment.
