Target
The workshop is targeted not only to experts but also (even primarily) to PhD. students. The scientific topics might be of interest to experts from related fields and to Master students as well.
Size
Estimated number of participants is 40 (in-person).
Duration
The Workshop will span over two weeks, September 16-27, 2024. Participants can register to the first week or to the second week or to both weeks and speakers can come for a shorter period at their convenience.

The format of a day is planned to be 2-3 talks/lectures in the morning and in the afternoon there will be participant contribution and a discussion block and a lot of time for social and collaboration exchange.
Fees
The Workshop is to a large extent supported by the local organizer, the Institute of Experimental and Applied Physics. The institute covers the expenses for the invited speakers, for the venue and for the support of students.
The value of the participation fee is derived to cover the other organizational expenses, lunches and coffee-breaks.

The EuCAPT provides limited resources for support of gifted students on request based on a recommendation. The support consists in providing a 50 % discount to the workshop fee.
Payment
The payment for the in-person participation will be accepted by bank transfer till September 8, 2024. The payment details will be sent by a separate e-mail after participant's registration. The on-line credentials will be sent to the participant upon the received payment.
