New Neutrino Interactions in Astrophysics and Cosmology (NnuIAC)

The workshop is the 2nd edition of the EuCAPT Astroneutrino Theory Workshop. You can check the 1st edition here.

The European Consortium for Astroparticle Theory (EuCAPT) seeks to bring together the European community of theoretical astroparticle physicists and cosmologists.

The scientific agenda of the Workshop is focused on the role of neutrinos in astroparticle and cosmological phenomena. In particular we focus on the New Neutrino Interactions (NnuI) proposed beyond Standard Model:

  • New Neutrino Interactions in Laboratory
(neutrino self-interactions, model building, coherent scattering, short-baseline anomalies, reactor anomalies)
  • New Neutrino Interactions in Cosmology
    (cosmological tensions, leptogenesis, CNB detectability)
  • New Neutrino Interactions in Astrophysics
(supernovae, diffuse supernovae fluxes, (U)HE cosmic rays, refractive effects from NSI, DM self-interactions via neutrino exchange)

The confirmed speakers are:

  • Mauricio Bustamante,

  • Valentina De Romeri,

  • Frank Deppisch,

  • Bhupal Dev,

  • Marco Drewes,
  • Steen Hannestad,
  • Alejandro Ibarra,

  • Michal Malinský,
  • Thomas Schwetz-Mangold,
  • Jack Shergold,
  • Yuri Shitov,

  • Alexei Smirnov,

  • Andreas Trautner.

The goal of the Workshop is to bring together experts of the selected areas, from whom the participants (experts and students) can learn. Secondly the workshop hopes to build up a creative environment supporting the formation of new ideas and collaborations.
