Description
Plutonium dioxide thin targets were irradiated by 660 MeV proton beam in Joint Institute for Nuclear Research at Dubna, Russia. Irradiated targets had been measured for several months by HPGe detectors, gamma lines of radioactive reaction and subsequent decay products were identified. Based on these data, cross-sections of residual nuclei production were determined. Obtained data are compared with calculation performed by different models using MCNP-6.2 and other codes. Results are very important for heavy actinides spallation models improvement, as these are very rarely validated by experimental data. Also comparison with data measured on thorium, uranium, and other targets is very beneficial, as well as comparison with data obtained by other groups and especially those taken by inverse kinematics method.
