Description
The production of alpha particles in photonuclear reactions on $^{65}$Cu, $^{115}$In, $^{92}$Mo and $^{207}$Pb targets in the beam of accelerated electrons with low energies was studied. The experiments were run on the Linear Electron Accelerator NLA (The Yerevan Physics Institute). The data on production of alpha clusters in photoproduction reactions were obtained in low energies of photon as a result of measurement of yields of residual products by means of activation technique. The measurement results represent the yields of reactions studied as functions of the mass number of nuclei and the photon energy. The yields of ($\gamma$, $\alpha$) reactions as measured in the present work are given in Fig.1. The data obtained enable one to suggest a change in the mechanism of alpha particle photoproduction with increasing energy of incident photons and target mass.

Fig. 1.Dependence of yields on mass number of targets. Dark and light circles are experimental points and calculations according to TALYS program, respectively, in case of photon energies of 21 MeV. Dark and light squares are respectively the experimental points and calculations according to TALYS program, in case of photon energy of 40 MeV.
